On this episode, fellow actor and friend Julian Bones joins me as we read another scene from Dominique Morriseau's Pipeline. Then we reminisce about our school days respectively as young, black and gifted kids in Miami-Dade county and Chicago Public Schools.

Julian you are very talented! Keep that light of hope lit up inside of you! How amazing is it that you all are shouting out your teachers! As an educator that makes my heart smile! It reminds me of something I learned before I started my career: “As a teacher you will always make an impact. It is your choice to decide whether that impact will be positive or negative.” So shout out again to Ms. Ferguson and Ms. Jones for leaving a positive impact on you all and so many other students.
