On today's episode I sit down with Shaylyn and we read a scene from Dominique Morrieseau's
"Pipeline". Then we talk all things virtual learning, and how Shaylyn is still remaining hopeful in her senior year of high school amidst all the changes.

What a powerful piece you all read! As a mother to a son, I can only imagine how the mother was feeling not being able to find her son. I also was able to see things from a different perspective outside of a parent hearing from the role Shaylyn played. Also, it makes me see that as a parent you have to be more accepting and open minded when it comes down to your kids and their friends. It is also important to be aware of our expectations.Congratulations in advance Shaylyn! You are so resilient!
