I love the song Elevated! It is powerful and moving! Listening to the words makes me think about myself as an African American woman in this time in which light has been shed on the injustices of black people and also of women. I’m so proud of who I am and like the song says, elevated but also frustrated because we are at the cusp of change and justice but, we have not seen it come to full life just yet. This song makes me feel hopeful, hopeful about the possibilities that the future hold for u
